This policy explains what information For Fathers Fitness (“we”, “us”) collects through this website and the coaching portal, why, where it is kept and who can see it. For Fathers Fitness is run by Alim Shabazz, who is the coach. Questions or requests: info@forfathersfitness.com.

The short version: we collect only what we need to coach you, we never sell it, we do not use advertising or analytics trackers, and you can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time.

Visiting the website

You can read the public pages without an account. We do not use analytics, advertising pixels or tracking cookies, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

Like every website, our hosting provider (Lovable, which publishes this site) receives standard technical information when your browser requests a page — such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested — and may keep it in short-lived server logs to deliver and protect the site. The site’s typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, so Google also receives your IP address and browser information when a page loads.

The portal keeps a few small items in your browser’s own storage — for example whether you log weights in pounds or kilograms, which client the coach last opened, and, once you sign in, your sign-in session. We do not use them to track you, and they stay on your device.

If you apply

The application asks for your contact details (your name, email address, phone number if you give one) and your answers to these questions:

  • What made you look for this now?
  • Twelve months from now, what would make this obviously worth it?
  • Your age
  • Where are you starting from?
  • Realistically, how many days a week can you train?
  • The program includes a 30-minute private coaching call each month and a short check-in in the app every week. Can you commit to both?
  • When a plan stops working, what do you usually do?
  • Is the disclosed investment something you are ready to commit to right now?
  • Anything else we should know before we talk?
  • How may we contact you about your application?

The application does not ask about your health, and we ask you not to include health details in it. The free-text answers hold whatever you type, so if you do mention something about your health, ask us and we will delete it. We use your application only to decide whether the program is a good fit and to contact you the way you chose. Applications are stored in the same private database as client records (described below) and are seen only by the coach.

If you become a client

Your sign-in. You sign in with your email address and a password through Supabase Auth, our sign-in provider. Supabase stores your password in a protected (hashed) form; we never see it. Supabase currently sends the sign-in emails (confirming your email address and resetting your password). We may move these emails to Google Workspace; if we do, we will update this policy.

Your private assessment. After you are accepted, the portal asks a longer set of questions so your coaching can be built safely around you. Some of these are health information you choose to share — for example health history and safety screening, medications and supplements, sleep, food, recovery and, optionally, men’s-health topics. Many questions let you answer “not sure” or ask to discuss them privately instead.

Your coaching records. Your plan and its versions, weekly check-ins (including any optional measurements you agree to share, such as bodyweight), workout logs (sessions, sets, weights and notes), messages with your coach (including automatic check-in reminders the app posts in your thread), the dates of your coaching calls, quarterly reviews, the playbooks you write, your confirmations that your summary is accurate, and your acceptance of the client agreement (which version, and when).

Payment. Clients pay by card through Stripe, our payment processor, on Stripe’s own secure checkout page. Stripe collects your card and billing details directly on its own page; this site never sees or stores them. We send Stripe only your portal account reference, your email address, the offer and the amount — never any health information. Stripe tells us whether a payment succeeded, failed or was cancelled, the amount, and its own reference numbers, and we keep that record with your account. Stripe handles your payment information under its own privacy policy.

AI-drafted replies (Anthropic)

To answer you faster, your coach uses an AI assistant, Claude, made by Anthropic, to draft replies to your messages and your weekly summaries. When your coach opens the replies queue (where your waiting messages and check-ins are listed) or asks for a draft, our server sends Anthropic the parts of your coaching records needed to write it: your first name, your current phase and week, a summary of your approved plan and current priority, your recent workout records (which sessions you did, not the weights), your recent check-in answers, recent messages in your thread, and the titles of the lessons you have been given. Anthropic processes this to produce the draft and handles it under its own terms.

We do not send Anthropic your email address, phone number, payment details or your private assessment answers. Check-ins that report a new symptom, pain, injury or a medication change, and messages our screen flags for those topics, are not sent to the AI at all — your coach answers them personally.

Your coach reads every draft and approves or edits it before it is sent. Nothing written by the AI reaches you without your coach seeing it first, and the AI cannot change your plan or clear a safety pause. Drafts that are not sent are kept with your coaching records but are never shown to you.

Where your information is kept

Applications, assessments and coaching records are stored in a Postgres database run by Supabase in the United States (US East region). The database is reachable only by our server, using a secret key that never reaches a browser. Each request is checked on the server: a client can open only his own records, and only the coach can see applications and every client’s records.

Records are kept as a history: when something changes, a new entry is added rather than the old one being overwritten, so your plan and progress can always be traced. The portal itself never erases records; deletion on request is done directly in the database (see “Your choices” below).

How we use it

  • To decide whether the program fits you and to contact you about your application.
  • To write, adjust and review your coaching plan, and to answer your check-ins and messages.
  • To keep you safe: if your answers raise a safety concern, training waits until your own licensed clinician has cleared you.
  • To keep a record of what was agreed and done.

We do not sell your information, share it for advertising, or add you to marketing lists. The portal does not send your health information by email or text message; it stays in the portal.

Who else handles it

Only the service providers needed to run the site, each for its own part: Supabase (database, sign-in and sign-in emails), Stripe (card payments), Anthropic (drafting replies for your coach, as described above), Lovable, our website host (delivering the pages) and Google Fonts (typefaces). We do not give your information to anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Applications are kept while we consider them and as a record that you applied. Client records are kept for as long as you are coached and afterwards, so you can come back to your history — until you ask us to delete them. Where the law requires us to keep something (for example, business records of fees), we keep only that.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, give you a copy, or delete it. Email info@forfathersfitness.com from the address you applied or signed in with. We will confirm when it is done. Deleting your records ends your access to the portal.

Depending on where you live, state law may give you further rights over your information. We honour access, correction and deletion requests from every applicant and client, wherever they live.

Coaching is not medical care

For Fathers Fitness is a coaching business, not a medical practice. Coaching is not medical diagnosis or prescribing, and it works alongside your own licensed clinicians, who remain responsible for your medical care. This policy describes coaching records, not medical records.

Security

  • Every connection to the site and the database is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
  • The database can be reached only from our server; row-level security blocks any direct access from a browser.
  • Sign-in requires a confirmed email address, and every request is checked so each person sees only what he is allowed to.
  • Passwords are handled by Supabase and card details by Stripe; we never store either.

No system is perfectly secure. If we learn of a breach that affects your information, we will tell you. If you think your account has been misused, email info@forfathersfitness.com.

Adults only

The program and this site are for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; if we learn we have, we delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change affects clients in a meaningful way, we will tell them in the portal or by email before it takes effect.
